Graduation Trip to Seoul Day 3

after a long day 2, we decided to stretch our bodies further and head to the club as planned. it was our second last night with the rest of the girls and we wanted to maximise our quality time as much as possible. tracy did her research so we went to club m2,  which is supposedly highly raved. it was a pity though, that the techno music didn't appeal to our ears and we ended up stoning in a corner. 20 bucks down the drain which could be wisely spent on two lovely printed skirts. we didn't want to end our night so we went to papa gorilla, which is affiliated to mama gorilla and baby gorilla. 10 bucks per entry which grant access to all three clubs. the music at papa gorilla was slightly better. at least they were playing english remixes which were familiar to our ears but the choice of music was rather backdated, i'd have to say. it was also pretty crazy in the underground clubs , which meant that desperate guys have trouble keeping their hands to themselves.

throughout the entire time, i was blindly following rachel with my hands clasped tightly around hers. i snapped out of my daze when rach turned to me, face all aghast , " omg feli and the rest fell "i looked down on the dance floor and all i saw was four girls scrambling to get up. 0.0

miss 1988 went back home with bruises on her knees and calves. they looked so bad it was as though we went to the boxing ring instead of a club. feli's forever falling when it comes to clubbing and i'm thinking of getting her legs insured for every clubbing occasion.

went back to the guesthouse in the wee hours of the night to catch some sleep and we're off to explore the streets of seoul again :x

first meal of the day at a random restaurant along hongdae.
we can't get enough of kimchi stew. wished we had more servings during the trip.

long long ride to our final destination >> nami island

if i didn't remember wrongly, foreigners enter at a discounted rate of 8000won .
inclusive of two way ferry which is only a short 5 minutes ride.

the beautiful park and the comfortable shade which allowed us to bask in the glorious sunlight.
i can still fondly recall the breath of fresh air which swept us away !! love mother nature.
can't believe we're living this way in singapore now.. with all the haze . LE SIGH.

i would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my point - rachel's skinny beyond hope.
here's presenting to you a picture of her sticky legs ; side view and back view.
doesn't really matter which view actually - both are equally skinny and they blend with the endless rows of thin tree trunks in the background.

lyla and i - machos of the day *insert macho emoticon here*

#outfitoftheday

my favourite korean drama back in high school !! - winter sonata.
it was such a hit. one of the first few dramas which spurred me to watch a few more korean dramas.
i was fangirling so hard over the male lead and his romantic antics and at the same time, secretly hoping that someday , i would meet a guy like the male lead in the story.
sadly, fairytales don't exist do they ? apart from kate middleton's case.
my boyfriend would make me do massage on his 183cm long body when i lose a bet -.-

free entertainment for felicia when the rest went for a toilet break.
i'm the graceful ballerina on the left while yenqin's just swaying her buttock.
i think sabby was grappling microphone stand with her petite frame.

yenqin's singing was terrible so i took over as the lead singer instead, by popular demand.
she quit singing and went on to play her imaginary violin instead.
sabby proceeded with her chinese dance.

halfway through my passionate singing, yenqin decides to do her superman dance *facepalm*

anyways, we were starving by the time we left nami island in the evening.
it was a long ride back to the main city and we stopped at some random station to get a quick by
we had to settle for some NY sausage bun because the rest of the eateries were closed for the day :(
our moods were lifted when we went for grocery shopping at a huge shopping mart in the basement!
my holy grail maybelline mascara was having a 1 for 1 promotion - SGD8 each :)

we got carried away with our shopping and almost missed the last train.
we were headed for insadong to try their sauna and it was an "eye-opening" experience.
we were just too shy to strip and a few ahjummas were laughing at our diffidence :(
did i also mention that the last train we boarded stopped at the station before our intended destination?
none of the cabs wanted to take us so we ended up walking a distance down with our heavy groceries.
it was mad tiring but i felt incredibly happy to be on the streets with my favourite girls,  watching aiai and rachel fighting over the grocery bag ( aiai wanted to help rachel with her grocery bag because rachel was literally slouching like an old grandmother with her heavy shopping and aching back) i would do it over and over again :)
