my best friend

more than 36 months ago , i met my best friend in a setting that i never thought would blossom a special relationship. blessed with good looks and a beaming personality, my best friend stood out among the crowd . on that very day, i thought this could be the day that could change my life ; for this could be the person who would wipe all my fears and tears away. we clicked fast and soon got very close. we would text each other from morning till night . we would meet each other almost every single day. even though we barely knew each other for a few days this friendship felt like it was gonna last forever.

when my best friend's wallet was tattered and torn , i saved up for a wallet that was meant for a gift that marked the 31st day of our friendship. when my best friend was nominated in a public beauty contest, i would vote for the bestfriend every single day to make sure that bestfriend felt loved and supported throughout the contest. when my best friend was upset about seasonal outbreak , i would save up money for good acne products that used to work on me. when my bestfriend felt outcasted , i would stand up and defend the bestfriend in every single way.

my bestfriend was undoubtedly the biggest part of my life. my bestfriend was actually afraid that the position in my heart would be replaced when i moved into a new environment. never did my bestfriend that the place was irreplaceable. years gone by and both of us had more and more commitments piling up. we started to drift away unknowingly.

i no longer knew what my bestfriend was thinking. when my bestfriend's upset with me, i would be fraught with peril about what could be written on the bestfriend's facebook wall. we no longer text each other throughout the day nor call on each other daily. i was no longer the fun and bubbly person my bestfriend once thought to be.

nevertheless, i'll still be waiting.

UOL BASH

this week, i rock my TGIF ! it was UOL bash and i finally got to go out and catch some fun amongst all the tuitions. my tuition kids are driving me nuts and the bash was such a good release. the bash was held and supper club and i'm pretty amazed at the huge turnout. there were a few familiar faces and i'm surprised that some of our lecture mates actually turned up.

yenqin came over to prepare before we head down to bugis to meet the rest for dinner. all of us were late except jessie. seriously i expected that thats why i wasn't planning to be punctual and poor jess was all alone for a good half an hour . we had dinner at iluma in which 6 of us shared 4 main course. the bill was 11 each and we were so full that we couldn't walk properly. the club was pretty empty when we got in and practically no one was dancing. we heard the previous uol bash suck so we made plans to leave if this year's suck too. yanning came over with sabrina and irene's friend came over to crash. yanning was so high and mighty that night , displaying all her prowess on the dance floor. i laughed so hard when i saw how she pushed the other guys away.

it was definitely a fun night but i figured i wouldn't wanna do this on a regular basis. we witnessed some girl peeing on the floor. we witnessed how this guy slept next to his pile of puke ( like 0.5 cm away) and how his friends left him just like that. we witnessed how this girl went incoherent . definitely not an image that i want to portray. on a good note, i hoped i lose some kilograms from all the perspiration on the dance floor! i was dead beat after the event and on saturday, i slept all the way from 4 pm to 7pm and slept and went another round from 1am to 10am. i was supposed to meet nette at 10 but postponed it to 11 because i was too shagged. i really think that age is catching up. till then.

TGIF!!

its amazing how time flies. it's already one and half month since school started and we're already in mid october. i can't wait for december because there will be a few weeks of holidays and louisa my dearest ah sam will be back in town ! shall fully utilise the time with her while she's back , since she won't be coming home so frequently. sam if you're reading this, you're missed. when you're back we will hit the clubs together.

its the 5th week of school and i'm still not used to 830 morning lectures :( every friday i struggle to get myself out of bed! my alarm will be on snooze repeatedly even for a minute. i need to get myself adjusted , pronto! my bedroom's in a mess and my wallet's tearing apart. i need to get new hangers and wardrobe but i haven't got the time to do so. thank god the test week is over so i get to slack ( not as if i haven't been doing so ) god i need to abolish the lackadaiscal attitude :( need to run and burn the carbs.

met gracia my love for lunch . settled for sakae sushi because i was craving for chawanmushi and fried tofu. love it , no matter how people say sakae sucks and all. i'm only a fan of chawanmushi, fried tofu and certain sushi so it doesn't really bother me if the sashimi isn't as fresh or whatsoever (: still dig sakae for its economical price! & jeffery the very nice guy gave me a lift to my student's place! gra's one lucky girl man .

it's a mistake to schedule gabriel's tuitions on friday because he's highly capable of ruining my day. he will keep mum when i ask him if he's learned his spelling .. done his homework.. seriously there's just SO MUCH that i could do. it's a no wonder that his teacher resort to calling him names ( that's mean but hey there's a limit to everyone's patience ) oh yes speaking of the word 'patience' , we spent 30 minutes just to get him to memorise the word ' impatient' but to no avail.

& i missed today's outing again. yenqin rach yanning irene jessie tracy, love you girls a lot a lot alot. wouldn't know what to do without you guys. i will plan for the next one so just sit back and await my news (:

october heads up!

i've finally managed to complete my IBM assignment. i completed a whole chunk of it on monday and finished up the blank spaces i've left yesterday. i hope mr nageb wont sift out any of our essays to criticise during lesson.

last friday, steph , grace eunice and i met up at 313 din tai fung! i had my favourite xiao long baos! grace wasn't hungry so she only ate like 3 pieces of xlb for dinner?! i was really happy to have met them because its been quite a while since we last met up. eunice actually have a test on the next day (saturday!) smu really grill their students man. they are pile up with lots of assignment, projects and community involvement programme. on the other hand, their school life seems so vibrant .. so unlike mine. -.- my nus mates have just completed their midterms and its scary to see how everyone is SO competitive and stressed. god bless all the students in singapore.

i just went for a run and its so refreshing. not the process but the aftermath. i think running on the threadmill is better because i seemed to be more determined when i'm on the threadmill while i count down to the remaining minutes.

anonymous ; sorry i could't reply your comment for some reason. i'm a uol student. uol is 100% examination based meaning that your year end examination results determined your semester grades. for rmit, projects also make up a big part of your grades. thats what i heard. uol is more a level like while rmit is more poly like. i think both are pretty good (:
