i'm back with pictures from last night's mini gathering . it was a short gathering , thus there weren't much pictures but definitely lots of fun and laughter as usual :) nothing beats the companion of the gang. i can't wait for sonia's semester to end so she would be home and we can meet up for breakfast / lunch / dinner / supper / study breaks etc. sonia oh i'll be your bunn hunn forever !

i'm back home from aunt's place. it's the best reunion dinner i've ever had since i was borned. firstly, i love everyone who was having the meal with me . next, it's heart warming to see mom chatting so happily away with my aunt. they haven't spoke for 11 years till 8 or 9 years back . i heart heart heart heart these people in my life !!

on the other hand, it's pretty heart wrenching to see my grandmother suffering from dementia. she would wake up at 4am in the morning to ask for food because she thought she skipped her meal. due to her condition, the adults have decided against the idea of my grandmom taking care of her own cash. prior to that, she has accused quite a lot of people of stealing her money. it happens during every chinese new year for the past 3 year and those incidents have stirred up quite a bit of resentment against my grandmother. not to mention, i was once her wrongly accused victim.

my aunt's friend came over for dinner and she gave my grandmother a red packet . my grandmother wanted to reciprocate so she went into the room searching for a red packet. when she took out her wallet, she realised that there wasn't a single cent. she took out the money from the red packet that was given to her and asked me if i had any small change for her note. my heart ached that instant. i hope that a few decades down the road, i wont be in a state like this.

i am really in love with this song , especially the version by glee . speaking of which , i really missed glee. i was so hooked on season one and was suffering from withdrawal symptoms when it ended. i was really anticipating for season two and now that it's back , i didn't have the time to search for the episodes :( yongkun managed to download the full season two and we should be watching them after his exams. i can't wait !!

just got back from a mini gathering with the nan hua girls at sonia's place. i had my very first 'lohei ' for the rabbit year. it's our first time doing this together and hopefully there's more to come. cheers to many more years of friendship. cliche but i do hope we will stay close together in years to come :)

anyway , last night was spent with the bigass UOL clique at the resort world. thanks to yanning , we were entitled to 50 percent off ala carte orders at HardRockcafe!! i've always wanted to try HardRock cafe . what a timely opportunity when you get to pig out at a fraction of the usual price :) there were two DSLRs, one compact s90 and one digital with beauty mode. we were busy snapping for a good half an hour before we managed to settle down and proceed on with our orders. i was starving so badly.

pork ribs , nachos with pork toppings ( my favourite! ) , mac & cheese & platter.

the boys charged at the nachos when it arrived on the table. they were so quick to dig in , especially (ahem) colin. i would definitely head back there again. i'm so in love with the food! i bet yongkun will love them , especially the nachos combo since he's a huge fan of nachos. it's a pity that the 50 percent discount is only a one time off privilege :/

i was having such a good time savouring all the food. at the moment, all i could think of was food. i totally lost all forms of consciousness and devoured everything that's on my plate. when i got home , i was reminded of lee hyori's chitty chitty bang bang music video and felt like dying. sometimes i wonder how do female korean artistes manage to maintain such svelte figures . in case you're wondering, that's yanning. die die must stick her head into the picture hahaha.

it's been raining all day long recently. i really love the cool weather but it gets really annoying when it rains non stop. i dont get to do my laundry and it makes me sleepy all day long. i was contemplating against attending the outing because my bed feels so comfortable . i shall not complain though since such weather beats the scorching hot weather hands down. i remember the days when i have to bring 5 packets of tissue to wipe away my perspiration.

after snapping a whole lot of pictures, we finally made our way down to vivo city to meet jessie and rachel . it's a pity that they couldn't join us because jessie had tuition and rachel had a birthday celebration. we took some polaroids and snaps before the rest head for home.

after which, a handful of us stayed behind to chill and play a few rounds of " everybody follow me " ( direct translation from qing ni gen wo zhe yang zuo ) kishan was with us and we had to persuade him to join in the game . after all the joy fun laughter, its back to the books again. prelims in less than a month , kill me baby.
