hari raya break

short update for the short date. 

after dating for more than half a decade , we ran out of things to do together. 

kun loves to drink and chill but i'm fervently averse to alcohol. 

it makes me nauseous in no time and i'll end up puking with rashes all over cheeks. 

& the rashes dont subside within the next few days :/

we've since moved our dating ground to his place with the companion of drama serials.

spending quality time together on a rare monday noon :) 

look at the spread lovingly prepared by his mother !! such mighty hands. 

cooking is something i'll probably never get used to ; until i overcome my fear of stoves 

kun toying around with my semi pro camera like a little boy. 

still can't figure out my 9 months old ricoh gxr . should have settled for something idiot-proof instead.

actually took the effort to dress up for our planned date at town but the boyfriend was so fickle 

teaching has made me so ungroomed. i could live with messy pedicure and overgrown fringe. 

gone were the days when make up was mandatory . goodbye vanity . 

less than a month to a new semester . need to sort out my thoughts and freshen up to embrace the new semester. final year and the final chance to pull up our class :/ go rebe !! 

yanning's 21st birthday bash

august is the second most birthday-packed month after january . 

i had 5 birthday bash to attend in January , excluding mine. 

that would mean a birthday party on every weekend of the month.

and august comes close with four whopping birthday celebrations!!

 yenqin should totally set up a business and start charging for her services.

it's a pity we were all cooped up in the dining room , trying our best to mark our territories. 

there were 77 confirmed guests on the guestlist and we just had to ensure our butts were well rested :x  

we didnt even venture out to admire this spot-  nature in its very best. 

and this became the main backdrop for phototaking - right smack in the grand entrance. 

felt pretty embarrassed about taking photos that day because a lot of peeps would be looking at you . 

there were a few groups who gave quizzical shots at one another . 

they must have been judging us for shamelessly hogging the photography ground :x

of which i must explain - I WAS DRAGGED INTO MOST OF THE PICS.

the only person who has ever gifted me with flowers is le bestie sonia. 

yongkun's too much of a hopeless romantic so i dont expect much from him either. 

i've already given him a big hint to save up for a big bouquet for my convocation though ^^ 

a big bouquet for a big milestone in my life. sounds like a valid expense.

aiai finished most of our bakwa that night , before our very eyes. 

she was having a hard time refuting the claims that night. 

we didnt have cards or games to play so we were stoning most of the time.

rachel had her birthday celebrated just three days before this event at seaview resort.

hanging out with these two peeps has its pros and cons. 

pros : nothing much. just having companion in school and at work. 

cons : a lot . my wallet and bank account keeps crying and screaming for help. 

whenever i am adamant to quit shopping for a while or go on a clothing fast ( yes peeps fast against food but i do it for clothing in a bid to acquire some spiritual enlightenment ) , feli / rach would send me a picture of some apparel asking me if it's pretty. & then my heart would waver ..

P.S joking much . love you both deep deep. though you both are really bad influence.

it would have been a perfect location if it was more accessible and central.

while it isn't a very friendly reminder of how fast we're aging , it's a good time to note that we have all crossed another milestone in our lives, together . cheers to many many more :) 

the bestfriend's who back from seoul . missed her for the longest time. 

what's a summer break without a single breakfast or brunch date with my love ?  

love how nia has become more feminine after her seoul trip. 

just when we thought she was never gonna get used to make up and dolling up. 

if only we knew that our concerns were unfounded back then. 

& look who just left singapore for seoul :'( 

south korea should just issue her a semi citizenship. it's like her second home already.

mini dinner date at spruce & old fire airport road . 

we were meaning to try a quaint cafe in the east but decided to settle for this instead. 

my first visit to spruce and i'm already sold. a perfect chill out i would say . 

the food , ambience and service was close to impeccability in my humble opinion :) 

our favourite mac and cheese . it's a must-try !! 

the serving is just nice for the three of us. too much of it and you'll be overwhelmed by cheese.

birthday girl who arrived late with her beau . 

always happy to know that my friends are in good hands. 

 

our group used to be much bigger but i'm contented with just the four of them :) 

life seem so much more worthwhile with these friends around.

HAPPY 47TH BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE :) 

i'm really happy and blessed that i m born in such a safe and peaceful country . 

couldn't image life if I was born elsewhere. 

and thank you MM Lee, for being alive.  :") 

such a huge relief when i saw all the tweets about his presence at the ceremony. 

OFTD ; LB bejou bralet in white and my trusty black flouncy skirt. 

decided to wear this one because it comes with safety shorts inside 

and i know i will probably lose it since im heading for LB's sale at good nation. 

& here's a satisfied customer who's so happy about her loots 

so glad we went early and snag up all the pretty pieces. 

most of the items were priced below twenty and boy , brand new pieces 

she does a heart sign. she claims she loves me a lot . she says i'm no.1 

but she goes overseas with others while she always tell me she has no money to go on trips with me. 

#liar liar pants on fire. you're officially out of top ten. #angst.

met up with the usual three and jason for dinner after our shopping . 

all of us were too lazy and tired to head elsewhere so we decided to settle dinner at cineleisure. 

eliminated all other options and settled on javier's rotisserie and salad bar. 

i've always wanted to try it but BestFriesForever is forever seducing me. 

someone please curb my love for potatoes.. 

highlight of the day ; kinect bonding time with the rest of the gang. 

there were eight of us,  the minimum pax required for two connecting rooms. 

i've perspired so much from all the dancing and goofing around. 

we could substitute running and gym for that.
