of recent happenings

love the cut and the material. i'm so happy that we managed to get it . 

a while back , my favourite girls decided to go on a shopping trip.  school workload isn't that crazy as compared to other unis but i've been feeling extremely unmotivated and restless. i have been wanting to start revision for managerial economics since i catch no balls during lessons but .. it's always easier said than done. WHERE ARE YOU DISCIPLINE :( 

so yenqin and i actually head down to jurong point , hoping to catch a glimpse of the handsome hunks of korean boyband 2pm. it was so crowded. & it was the first that i'm actually regretted getting my camera because the S10 kit zoom is pretty lousy and this is the best picture captured out of the numerous attempts. i'm actually quite happy that i managed to hear their voice though :x please don't label me as a crazy fan girl ! it was so so so so crowded. i was actually rather surprised that there were so many malays though. korean pop is really taking a storm over the world. 

& on another occasion, met up with gracia together with yenqin to hunt for a 21st birthday gift. it's so hard to hunt for a gift these days because everyone has everything . you really gotta crack your brains and brainstorm what's appropriate and what's not. i can totally imagine the pals cracking their brains to decide my birthday gift :x 

we wanted to try strictly pancakes but it was closed . i was starving and wanted to drop dead when i realised that it was closed upon reaching. settled for tarafuku japanese buffet @313 somerset . i would say the spread is not bad and it's only 21 per pax after GST. i didn't really like the sashimi ( although i spammed a whole lot of sashimi ) but gracia told me that the standard was rather off that day. 

 & we bumped into our ex classmate gaurav . :) 

met up with lou last wednesday who was recently back in town. i didn't get to meet her the last time she came back because i was swarmed with a lot of work and tuitions :x felt so guilty so i told my mom that i have to squeeze out a time slot for her no matter what.  so it was haircut --> meet with lou --> facial (which was postponed so yay more time with lou ) --> back to salon to dye my hair. so much to do, so little time who what where when why?!

i knew i had to watch this movie when i saw the preview on the theatres. 

the scene that captured me most - when the lead actor took the punishment and scolding on behalf of the lead actress because he passed his textbook to the lead actress who didn't bring her textbook.

 i teared at the last part because :

 1) it brought back memories of high school 

2) the movie didn't end the way we expected/hoped 

3) it made me regret about certain decisions that i've made in life :(

& i found out the shocking truth - the lead actress's 28 years old 

now i feel a bit better because i'm almost a decade younger heh

it was so frustrating when the inner lining kept riding up. 

anyway... i almost lost my blackberry . 

we were shopping happily at h&m when i realised that my phone was no longer in my bag ? i panicked when i didnt feel the vibration when lyla called.  it wasn't so bad if that was my phone. i sent my blackberry for repair a week ago and they loaned me a spare blackberry to tide through this period. it was stated on the contract that i have to pay 900+ for the old blackberry phone if it's misplaced. 900+bucks . with all the birthday planning and korea trip, i'm on the verge of bankruptcy. i went around searching the counters and retracing my steps . i went into a state of frenzy and asked the h&m peeps if there's anything that i could do about it.  thank god this worker found my phone on the sofa !!

THANK GOD FOR KIND PEEPS WHO ARE NOT GREEDY.

it was such a close shave. & i'm nursing a flu right now.

the last time i participated in a flea was last year ? 

i've been so caught up with school , work and tuition that i lost how it felt to be in a flea

after much postponing and persuasion, rach , feli and i booked two booths !

it was pouring so heavily so we were a lil worried about the response

to make matters worse, we arrived an hour late

we started to set up our booth at 2 plus in the noon when the other booths started business already. 

four girls and a lot of heavy bags. 

i honestly wanted to faint on the spot. 

when we reached, felimbo said we had no chairs. 

however , the very pro felimbo managed to get four chairs for us. 

our location was cooling because of the fan and the booth next to us was empty

hence, our booths were really spacious and we had three racks with us 

our favourite couple of the day :)

i thought the response was not bad..

BUT

the crowd was so damn cheapo

we lowered some of the pieces to 2 bucks and they were bargaining for a dollar

it was unbelievable. 

nevertheless, it was a good experience.

i've finally settled on a camera :) :) 

on the down side, i've been getting giddy spells. 

been visiting the clinic every so often this year. 

next year i'll wish for good health , for myself and everyone else.
