i am really in love with this song , especially the version by glee . speaking of which , i really missed glee. i was so hooked on season one and was suffering from withdrawal symptoms when it ended. i was really anticipating for season two and now that it's back , i didn't have the time to search for the episodes :( yongkun managed to download the full season two and we should be watching them after his exams. i can't wait !!

just got back from a mini gathering with the nan hua girls at sonia's place. i had my very first 'lohei ' for the rabbit year. it's our first time doing this together and hopefully there's more to come. cheers to many more years of friendship. cliche but i do hope we will stay close together in years to come :)

anyway , last night was spent with the bigass UOL clique at the resort world. thanks to yanning , we were entitled to 50 percent off ala carte orders at HardRockcafe!! i've always wanted to try HardRock cafe . what a timely opportunity when you get to pig out at a fraction of the usual price :) there were two DSLRs, one compact s90 and one digital with beauty mode. we were busy snapping for a good half an hour before we managed to settle down and proceed on with our orders. i was starving so badly.

pork ribs , nachos with pork toppings ( my favourite! ) , mac & cheese & platter.

the boys charged at the nachos when it arrived on the table. they were so quick to dig in , especially (ahem) colin. i would definitely head back there again. i'm so in love with the food! i bet yongkun will love them , especially the nachos combo since he's a huge fan of nachos. it's a pity that the 50 percent discount is only a one time off privilege :/

i was having such a good time savouring all the food. at the moment, all i could think of was food. i totally lost all forms of consciousness and devoured everything that's on my plate. when i got home , i was reminded of lee hyori's chitty chitty bang bang music video and felt like dying. sometimes i wonder how do female korean artistes manage to maintain such svelte figures . in case you're wondering, that's yanning. die die must stick her head into the picture hahaha.

it's been raining all day long recently. i really love the cool weather but it gets really annoying when it rains non stop. i dont get to do my laundry and it makes me sleepy all day long. i was contemplating against attending the outing because my bed feels so comfortable . i shall not complain though since such weather beats the scorching hot weather hands down. i remember the days when i have to bring 5 packets of tissue to wipe away my perspiration.

after snapping a whole lot of pictures, we finally made our way down to vivo city to meet jessie and rachel . it's a pity that they couldn't join us because jessie had tuition and rachel had a birthday celebration. we took some polaroids and snaps before the rest head for home.

after which, a handful of us stayed behind to chill and play a few rounds of " everybody follow me " ( direct translation from qing ni gen wo zhe yang zuo ) kishan was with us and we had to persuade him to join in the game . after all the joy fun laughter, its back to the books again. prelims in less than a month , kill me baby.

i really like to procrastinate. it's like an addiction. i will go like " okay by 4pm i will shut down my macbook and get started on economics" but i've never been really punctual. when i'm supposed to meet the rest at a designated time, i will always reach approximately 45 minutes late. when i say 'the rest' , i'm referring to lyla rachtan and all , my beloved members of the newly founded late clique. if its yongkun or sonia i will probably be killed by now. & i always underestimate the required time taken for a task. i thought it would probably take me 15 minutes to get my assesment books from the popular book store but the actual time taken was thrice of the estimated. -.- thankfully its pretty much fixed now.

& some updates .. so it's term break again hooray !! uol programme is really slack . it's slack but tough. i'm struggling with math and i put the blame on 1) myself 2) lousy lecturer . i'm really sympathetic towards mr liew's plight so i've decided to give him a grade 4 , indicating that i'm satisfied with the overall course though i remarked that his notes are difficult to comprehend .. wish me all the best to strive towards being a diligent student that i once used to be , 10 years back.

lyla and i have been waiting for this event since forever ! just one fine day , i happened to chance upon this contest to write in to hervelvetvase, stating the reasons as to why i think i deserve to win a bobbi brown makeover worth 100sgd. i merely wanted to try my luck and heehee , my entry was selected ! you have no idea how happy i felt when i received the email titled ' you've won yourself a bobbi brown denim rose makeover ' a few months back , i attended the bobbi brown event together with yenqin and bought a heap of bobbi brown products. i bought their newly launched denim palette , gel eyeliner and make up base etc.. signed up for their membership and got a set of travel toiletries.

the owners of the blogshop , clare and mag , were really nice and we felt so happy to be invited :> so glad that i've decided to bring lyla along. on that very day, we were told that we could bring some of our friends as some of the other guests couldn't make it. yanning and nette wanted to go so badly but they've already had some other plans :( rachtan was in hongkong if not i will drag her ass down. we bought 11 pieces in total , both sale items and brand new collections. i should have bought more :( some pieces were at a steal of 10 sgd!! i got a top for 10 bucks which serene paid for 24 . consumer surplus of 14 sgd :)

approximately 48 hours ago , i turned 20. i was at the club with awesome people like yangyenqin , racheltan , chooyanning , irenesng , feliciakoh , junli and kishan. luv you awesome people. thank you for going through the trouble of getting a slice of creamy chocolate cake ( from awfully chocolate! ) , risk getting owned by bouncer for bringing a pair of scissors ( thats you my oh so lovely lyla ) , spending a bomb on entrance fee for zouk when you are sick and not in the mood to club. i can't express how thankful, and ashamed i am for the blast. rachel yann felicia and junn could have spent just 10 bucks for entry because of their citibank card but the rest of us had to pay 30 bucks each. the very kind and generous souls decided to split with us to share our costs ..

i've just received a facebook post from yujie and it goes like happy (shhh lets keep it a secret ) birthday. it's really funny but oh no, that reminds me.. i should stop revealing my age from now onwards. this year i feel really old. it doesnt help that people like rach tan keeps going with the exclamation at my age :/ i'm forever young at heart yeah !

& special mentions like my dear cheryl lee, who took note of the time difference and bbmed me happy birthday at 12am sharp ( sg time zone ) . sonia oh who made took the morning 8am flight from malaysia just to celebrate my birthday. i feel so bad that her father has to pay additional charges for that ticket. & dearest lyla who went through the trouble to get the present for both cliques. thanks to you , i finally got my hands on miracle and the japanese cure gel exfoliator. 2010 was a pretty fabulous year thanks to you people and i bet 2011 would rock more . :>

today's one of the best TGIF in a long while. economics lesson ended approximately 20 minutes earlier and it's the last day of school of 2010 ! you bet we were all counting down to the end of the class . we even took pictures with our very charismatic econs lecturer mr mark harris . the lecturer whom we greatly feared during the initial period of school ; lock you outside the lecture if you're late , confiscate my blackberry on its very first debut , bombard you with cheem economics questions when you are late from break. he told us to fully utilise our break for when school officially starts in 2011 , it's gonna be hell :/

after which we proceed on with our pre-christmas party! initially , we thought the party is gonna suck because there were only 4 members from the boy gang and we werent on very very close comfortable terms to be honest. we had a gift exchange and the person who picked me is none other than my very dearest xiao love , irene sng ! the present was slightly above budget and i love it to the max ! she got me a cute weekly schedule and a set of highlighters . they will be permanent residents of my bag in the coming year . you know the feeling you get when you receive a perfect set of stationeries - motivated to start the year on the right note ! this schedule even includes a section where you pen down your expenses, earnings and savings. perfect for the tuition teacher and spendthrift like me. hopefully in 2011 , i will be able to control my spending and watch over my bank account. saranghae xiaoai !

we got married is this really addictive korean reality show that i'm so sucked into !! all thanks to the recommendation of miss heng. that explains why i haven't been running and blogging. i foresee a huge hump of assignments and readings to do in a couple of weeks. school sucks especially when there are assignments due and surprise tests . nevertheless, these people enlighten my days in school :)

being able to make rachel laugh when i go about doing the ' when i say yanning you say hip hop ' gag , discuss all the agneselle, hollyhoque , lovebonito etc previews with vann yenqin felicia and all, being able to discuss khuntoria with irene and all the woes of being a teacher with jessie , organise events and gatherings .. WHATS NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THEM ?! & now that we got to know the guys better, school life's better. with nice people like henry who bought us donuts and got us extra sociology notes. thank god for these people , really .

another strike off on my to get list! no more fake 'bbm' with rachel lyla and irene. & no more sucky LG KS 360 which shuts down whenever i slide up my phone. i've completely lost faith in LG products . now that my data plan is activated, i get to communicate with cheryl more often. quotes from bimb ' blackberry brings people together ' i'm constantly on whats app with jeanette & sonia too. whats not to love about this gadget ? i have been contemplating between iphone4 and blackberry but i've decided on the later because i have an itouch already. all gadgets are purchased with my own hard earned money :/ i think i've really spent a lot this year. my compact camera will have to wait till next year. hopefully gabriel nigel nicholas & all will be more obedient next year so i wont have a tough time tutoring ..
