i'm really happy and blessed that i m born in such a safe and peaceful country . 

couldn't image life if I was born elsewhere.

such a huge relief when i saw all the tweets about his presence at the ceremony.

and i know i will probably lose it since im heading for LB's sale at good nation. 

& here's a satisfied customer who's so happy about her loots 

so glad we went early and snag up all the pretty pieces. 

most of the items were priced below twenty and boy , brand new pieces 

she does a heart sign. she claims she loves me a lot . she says i'm no.1 

but she goes overseas with others while she always tell me she has no money to go on trips with me. 

#liar liar pants on fire. you're officially out of top ten. #angst.

met up with the usual three and jason for dinner after our shopping . 

all of us were too lazy and tired to head elsewhere so we decided to settle dinner at cineleisure. 

eliminated all other options and settled on javier's rotisserie and salad bar. 

i've always wanted to try it but BestFriesForever is forever seducing me. 

someone please curb my love for potatoes.. 

highlight of the day ; kinect bonding time with the rest of the gang. 

there were eight of us,  the minimum pax required for two connecting rooms. 

i've perspired so much from all the dancing and goofing around. 

we could substitute running and gym for that.

PLAY LIKE THERE'S NO RELEASE OF RESULTS. 

i'm hoping the best for all of us , let's keep our faith - we can do it . 

two days since i'm back in town and i'm adjusting pretty well . although it feels weird that i'm not facing random food stalls on the streets when i'm out , i'm kind of happy that i'm back teaching because work makes me complete. sometimes i think i'm quite a workaholic which is not a bad trait i would say ! it was my fourth visit to bangkok and probably the most happening one.. in a good/bad way.

we had a speedy flight. the past few times, the flight took three hours plus but this time round it took only two hours plus. we were so surprised 0.0 i was really glad that tiger airways depart on time because i know that they were known for their flight delays. we managed to snap cheap tickets for about 200 odd :) 

i've always booked ecotel bangkok ever since cecelia introduced it to me on our very first visit to bangkok a few years back. it was relatively new then and very reasonably priced . the hotel was clean , location was not too far off from pratunam shopping area and the service was commendable. i remembered that we liked this bell boy so much that we tipped him even though we were pretty 'cash-strapped' from all the shopping. this time round , it was a nightmare. we found bed bugs and kindly requested for a change of room. the manager on duty ( can't believe they assign such an important post to someone so crude ) hollered at cecelia over the phone so we head down to speak to them. thought all would be alright until we encountered his horrible attitude - he threw the keys and muttered some thai obscenties under his breath ...  this time round i spoke up since he must have thought cecelia being so petite and all is an easy target for bullying. he was like " okay sorry go go " , rolled his eyes and went on with his work. went up to the new room and encountered yet another black face room service guy . he made it so obvious that he was super unwilling to change bed sheets for us by throwing the bed sheets on the floor . SPEECHLESS REALLY. did a quick check on the bed and realised there was yet another big stain on the bedsheet. we were tired and very upset by then. horrible experience right from the start.  we decided to head off for massage before we check out and headed off to grand hyatt hotel .

both of us goofing around with her iphone in the morning at grand hyatt. 

we had such a comfortable stay at grand hyatt. thanks to cecelia and her mom,  our trip took a turn on a brighter note :) it made me adamant to work hard and earn more money so that i can stay in hotels with impeccable service such as grand hyatt at bangkok. from the service at the front desk to the service of the bell boys... PERFECT. the bell boys even took down the taxi number to ensure that we would reach our destination safely. 

checked into another budget accommodation that we found through agoda - citin pratunam 

the rates were slightly higher than ecotel but very affordable still ! we had a really good time there thanks to the helpful staffs as well. they actually provided a free tuktuk service at regular time slots to shopping areas like platinum mall . perfect for the both of us . while the location can be quite hard to find at first , the problem can be solved by showing the drivers the map. we loved the fact that they had a massage and spa parlour at the top level of the second building ! 300 baht for an hour of thai massage . just chuck our stuffs in the room and head for the massage ; how convenient :) they had a gym which is currently in the works. i guess it will be up for use in near future. can't wait to head back there again ! 

bought so many pretty and printed stuffs this time round. i think i've grown smarter after the previous trips to bangkok . buy only if you like it and not because it's cheap . didn't buy as much as before but i genuinely love all the steals i got this time round. here's a quarter of the stuffs i got . spot the topshop bralet and zara shorts replicas ? :>  can't wait to share every single piece with my baby lyla yang ! 

& a big hug to my travel partner cecelia low . i'm looking forward to serve your limbs again hahahaha .

my dates on a friday night . haven't felt so excited about fridays in a long time

i've a tuition scheduled on friday nights so there isn't any joy in TGIF but this week's an exception 

i'm so happy that all of us are taking the effort to meet up more often .

it's so much bigger than the usual outlets are there are much more designs stocked there . 

had so much fun snapping quirky pictures ; checking out the latest loots in zara forever21 topshop etc; having heart to heart talks after the movie over finger food ; talking about how much we've grown as individuals and as a clique and how we are going to behold our future and the release of results in mid august. & then a whole new semester ensues.

exams are the bane of our lives indeed. 

we've finally caught the ' I AM ' movie production of SM family. 

i'm not a die hard kpop fan but i listen to korean songs almost everyday. 

attended SNSD's concert a few months back and was so awestruck by their stage presence

watched the movie and i'm even more awestruck . 

how can they manage to stay so slim and pretty ?!

we actually saw the backstage footages and pre debut footages

when the idols had no make up and were preparing to debut as artistes. 

some of them look so different and we all concluded that make up makes a difference

and of course minor plastic surgeries to refine your looks.

went for a job interview with rach keith and lylayang last week :) 

finally no more bumming around !!

thanks to rach who's always very resourceful . 

i've attended a few job briefings and interviews before this and they were a complete waste of time. 

i'm currently tutoring so i was looking for a part time job with flexible timings. 

attended this job briefing which lasted for three hours only to realise that we actually had to pay an upfront fee of $400 bucks before we could access to the database to start working ?!

i've heard so much about it from lyla yang and i've finally got to try it

no pictures of the food because we were starving and the camera refused to focus

we ordered pad thai , pineapple rice , basil chicken and a few others

the pad thai was really delicious and it's my favourite dish . 

not a fan of the mango sticky rice because the glutinous rice was too hard. 

the food's satisfactory but it wasn't especially yummy or so in my opinion

it wasn't very cheap either, but reasonably priced. 

i'm not that impressed with the service though 

i would prefer nakhon thai food @ kovan. 

can't wait to meet the gang for chili crab feast :)

how i wish i could feast as much as i want without having to watch my weight

feeling so motivated to blog about my simple yet awesome meetup with my favourite girls :) 

we're finally meeting elsewhere apart from library , school or ngee ann campus .

i hate how my contacts felt so dry at the end of the day yet i cant remove them or i will be groping aimlessly on the streets. should really save up for lasik someday. 

 shopping was rather disappointing today. 

i didn't managed to see anything that i like so i only spent 10 bucks on lrh warehouse sale. 

two tops at 5 bucks each. what a steal :) i honestly went with the intention of splurging but there was nothing that really caught my eye. feli and rach ended up spending much more than me 0.0 

so at 10:20 pm , feli felt guilty about purchases and tweeted 

"must stop shopping until BKK"

i swear that was the nth time i've heard from this girl. 

and just five minutes ago , she asked me to check out gmarket to see if there's anything that I would like to get so we could combine shipping... 

moving on .. i'm so in love with rach's new hair colour. 

it's close to the shade that i've always wanted to try.. like 95% 

my roots are showing and it's pretty hideous but it's not a good idea to keep dying your hair
