three more days to my bangkok trip with cecelia and i haven't got anything packed. i've gotten the stuffs ready but I've yet to replace my 8 year old luggage which looks like it's gonna die on me anytime. these two weeks have been nothing but crazy . i've actually allowed myself to be cajoled by yenqin to head down to LB warehouse sale for two consecutive days. nevertheless , we were pretty happy that we managed to snag a few good buys which were probably the last few pieces left.  by second day, there was hardly any apparel that's really worth the purchase so thank god for saving my wallet . since the start of great singapore sales, it's almost too painful to do anything. i wanted to avoid hitting the streets since the sales were too tempting. i never knew h&m was so reasonably priced and now that i know, it's the start of my nightmare. neither do i want to stay at home because my hands will be on my laptop and before you know it , i will be transferring money out of my account for some online purchases :/


sammy's belated birthday brunch 

i've been so busy rescheduling my tuitions and doing make up classes for those who missed a lot of work during the june holidays. couldn't find a better gift for sammy hence i decided to bring her out for brunch instead. silly me thought that she wanted to try food for thought when she clearly told me it was strictly pancakes. the whole time i was thinking " sunday brunch. food for thought. " before i set off to the place , i got confused between queens street and prinsep street and i wondered where it all came about.  when i finally settled down and ordered my food, i got a call from sammy that she's at the venue and it was then that i realised i got it all mixed up. felt so bad that she had to walk quite a distance . thank god they are within the same vicinity .

nevertheless, they own the cupcakes i bought from house of mini @ CCK Lot 1

i was really craving for cupcakes on friday and i decided to give them a try. 

their red velvet cupcake costs $3.50 ( and probably 2/3 the usual cupcake size )

the topping of the red velvet cupcake was pure cream , instead of cream cheese frosting. 

imagine my disappointment. i would never patronise them again.

& i've been caught in unglam eating shots for two consecutive gatherings... 

i've no idea why my expression was captured so timely but i had a good laugh .

close to a month

yes, i haven't met my boyfriend for close to a month despite the fact that both of us are in sgp. doesn't make sense at all but both of us have been caught up with our priorities. not that we aren't each other's priority but there's so much to be done it's overwhelming. it's five days since liberation and i'm savoring every single minute of it . the past few months were hell and i wonder how i actually survived and got through this phase.

i really couldn't ask for more :') had such a good time catching up and someone's officially "out of the shelf " . so sneaky. she claimed that she wanted to break the news to us in person because it would be more sincere. i jokingly quipped that i'll inform her of my wedding dinner a day before the actual event to seek my revenge :p  can't believe we're actually talking about marriage at this point of time. it's like so near yet so far and while we hate to admit.. we're getting older and older :( 

how i wish time could stop and let us catch some breath before we move on or something. i want to spend more quality time with my boyfriend friends and family this summer to compensate the lack of social life UOL has robbed me for the past few months . till the next one .

met up with two of my precious babes this sunday :) 

i used to talk to nette over the phone every other day but uni robbed us of our quality time.

all of us are really busy with our own stuffs so it's really hard to meet up . 

what makes it worse that aussie robbed us of our girlfriend louisa 

wished we could meet like once a week or so but time isn't on our side ..

i can't wait for her to be back again !!

i haven't seen the peeps from my JC for a long long time. the last time we met was on 1st January ,  my birthday party at st' regis. everyone's so busy it's hard to fix a date to accommodate everyone. glad that most of us took time down to celebrate birthdays.  it would have been more awesome if wing could take leave from her work to join us though . had a lot of fun nevertheless :) cheers to girlfriends time 

& i brought ricoh out to play that day..

i used to drag kun all the way to clarke quay just to have it 

they used to have this rewards card thingy but it's no longer valid now 

7 bucks for 12 pieces of churros served with chocolate dip. 

pretty pricey but it's worth every penny :):) 

it was my treat but the girls barely ate them so it was 90% sinful indulgence on my part.

another week flew by and we're on the third week of january 

how i wish time could stay still so we could catch a breather 

finally managed to catch up on some school related stuffs

no motivation and determination :( slipping into mediocrity ...

anyway , this week was a tough week for kun 

apparently he had to do extra duties because he didnt take good care of his gun:/

while his platoon mates got to enjoy their friday , he had to book in at 7 in the morning

& he got his posting result which he had mixed feelings because

1) he's happy with his posting because he got his first choice

2) majority of his closest pals are posted out :( 

last tuesday was cuitian's black and white 21st at MBS suite

lucky girl who got this suite (with a free upgrade thanks to her friend) at only 200 bucks!! 

didn't managed to access the infinity pool because it was closed :( 

better luck next time i hope.

a while back , my favourite girls decided to go on a shopping trip.  school workload isn't that crazy as compared to other unis but i've been feeling extremely unmotivated and restless. i have been wanting to start revision for managerial economics since i catch no balls during lessons but .. it's always easier said than done. WHERE ARE YOU DISCIPLINE :( 

so yenqin and i actually head down to jurong point , hoping to catch a glimpse of the handsome hunks of korean boyband 2pm. it was so crowded. & it was the first that i'm actually regretted getting my camera because the S10 kit zoom is pretty lousy and this is the best picture captured out of the numerous attempts. i'm actually quite happy that i managed to hear their voice though :x please don't label me as a crazy fan girl ! it was so so so so crowded. i was actually rather surprised that there were so many malays though. korean pop is really taking a storm over the world. 

& on another occasion, met up with gracia together with yenqin to hunt for a 21st birthday gift. it's so hard to hunt for a gift these days because everyone has everything . you really gotta crack your brains and brainstorm what's appropriate and what's not. i can totally imagine the pals cracking their brains to decide my birthday gift :x 

we wanted to try strictly pancakes but it was closed . i was starving and wanted to drop dead when i realised that it was closed upon reaching. settled for tarafuku japanese buffet @313 somerset . i would say the spread is not bad and it's only 21 per pax after GST. i didn't really like the sashimi ( although i spammed a whole lot of sashimi ) but gracia told me that the standard was rather off that day. 

 & we bumped into our ex classmate gaurav . :) 

met up with lou last wednesday who was recently back in town. i didn't get to meet her the last time she came back because i was swarmed with a lot of work and tuitions :x felt so guilty so i told my mom that i have to squeeze out a time slot for her no matter what.  so it was haircut --> meet with lou --> facial (which was postponed so yay more time with lou ) --> back to salon to dye my hair. so much to do, so little time who what where when why?!
