vannie's 21st birthday party

 vannie has finally turned 21st :) 

her actual birthday falls on the 8th but she had her celebration on the 10th instead. 

because we are all busy bunch of peeps on weekdays but party animals on weekends :p

happy birthday once again  , vanessa ! 

we were split into groups that day. 

yenqin came over to my place for make up while rach & trace went over to yann's 

jess , vann went with felimbo while our dearest ai is sick and couldn't make it :( 

we totally miss you aiai ! 

i have no idea why lyla looks like she's gonna get raped while the rest are just watching . 

i stepped out for a moment to pass vann her birthday dress and came back with lots of pictures in my camera already . read on the rest of the post to find out who are the camwhore culprits.

we have been toying with this concept every since my 20th birthday this year :x

& guessed who appeared in every single picture above ?! 

you must be blind if you didn't spot her :x 

but i must give credits to yann's make up and dressing that day 

she can pull off the glamorous feel very well .. 

upon the condition that she doesn't show you how she gobbles food ha :/

cyril referred her as " the girl who keeps eating" funny much ! 

glorious food . 

all of us were gobbling food at around 8+ 

the party started late and there weren't seats at the barbecue area 

we had to take food to the clubhouse on the 31st level.

we were all frantic at the start of the party 

yenqin and i were worn out from SNSD's concert the day before so we were in stone mode. 

trace had something on before that so she arrived at yann's place late . 

yann couldn't find the condominium so they made rounds before they arrived at the condo 

vann was in frantic and frenzy mode because her dress is with rachel and her aunts were rushing her

& because vann was frantic , feli was stressed up because she's doing her make up. 

it's really not easy planning a party .. & mine's next one. 

we didn't bring cards or whatsoever so all we did was eat , chat & camwhore

as usual , i assumed the role as the entertainer of the clique and did their favourite unglam poses

because they mean the world to me , 

i'm happy as long as they are happy :)

the view was so beautiful that night , and there was eclipse ! 

so random, like out of the blue jason told us to watch the moon. 

thank god it didn't rain that night or all plans would have been foiled.

we snapped so many pictures without her which is such a pity !

if you were to look at my camera, you would probably think yann's the birthday girl 

i honestly think yenqin snapped as much pictures as yann

but yknow , yenqin deletes 9 out of 10 pictures 

so whatever picture that's left of her is probably 10% of what she took .

she didnt want me to get because i spent so much in korea .

 the pretty fondant cake 

unfortunately , the cake cracked and they had to send it back to get it fixed

vann had to go all the way to collect it again 

it was such a bad experience with this online bakery i can only thank god that i didn't order from them 

there were faint cracked markings on the cake still but cake cutting was done in the dark 

the condo management switched off all the lights at 10 sharp and we had to sing in the dark

unfortunately , the cake didn't taste as good as it looks. 

i didnt eat the fondant because i was told it's too sweet. 

i think i was the only one who managed to finish the cake ( minus the fondant )

& here's what we did to kill time ! 

cyril was really entertaining when he took the shots for us. 

we were teasing about how feli likes to 'lbl' (inside joke)

& he actually replied thats why i'm with her ? we were laughing like mad 

i'm really thankful to have known you :) 

and you darach <3 for always listening to me and taking in all my nonsense.

after which, feli , rach , lyla , jun , jessie, trace and i head over to rebel 

trace's boyfriend and lester joined us later . 

peihao and vann were supposed to join us but peihao fell ill ..

nevertheless, i had fun with the rest that night. 

it was our first time at rebel and it was an 'eye-opener'

we had a couple making out right in front of us.. with that guy's hand on the girl's boobs

seriously, some peeps should just get a room?!

even when feli was shouting like a mad woman, they continued their business. 

you know how woman experiences mood swings every now and then

on certain days you feel like , xx is your bestfriend now and forever

on certain days when she does something that ticks you off , you could feel otherwise

we all learn and grow up. learn things in a hard way but grow up in the right way. 

i must say it's hard to maintain a big clique because there are so many differences 

we are all so busy with our own schedules there's hardly any time left for bonding. 

but i guess in the end, if you're willing to give & take , put in the effort to meet .. 

we could be still as tight ten years down the road :)
