everyone turned up - grace eunice steph siyi and i . it felt so good to be catching up after a long long while. i think i haven't met them since the release of results ? i guess i was too depressed to engage in any social activities. good to see them settling well into their new environment ; not gonna be easy in the near future but i'm sure they can do it . it's probably one of the last few meet up sessions with siyi as she will be leaving for further studies in approx 2 weeks time. my friends are incredibly smart. anyway i didn't know that we ( at the age of 19 ) can order kid's menu at everything with fries! eunice and i ordered the kids set because we weren't really hungry and the portion's actually really filling. a reasonable portion at only 6.90!
17 august 2010 - bobbi brown makeover
thank you miss yang for going through the experience with me. i hope you enjoyed it as much as i do . i thought it would be a counter thing but they actually have set up a mini booth to hold the denim revolution event. thank god that the slot i've chosen wasn't as crowded as the morning sessions ( according to the stylist ) or else i would be guilt ridden if yenqin wasn't given a seat .
anyway so there was complimentary makeover, 100 bucks worth of bobbi brown products to be redeemed and a photography session ( which was mega awkward ) .
they had a stylist from kim robinsons who curled my hair. i wasn't used to having big waves although yenqin insisted it was nice and all but i put on a smile all the way because i didnt want the hairstylist to be upset ( he was extremely nice ). anyway, the make up artist tried on the new denim range and i really love it , apart from the sparkling eyeshadow which i tried to remove aggressively in the toilet. i've decided to top up 100+ to get the denim gel eyeliner and vitamin enriched face base. that entitled me to a membership which includes 2 complimentary make up lesson and makeover, gift set which contains mascara , translucent gloss and nude eyeshadow. a really good deal (: & the make up artist kindly accepted my request to try on the gel eyeliner on yenqin. looks fab on her too. i can't wait to share with the rest my newly updated make up box .
P.S thank god . some kind soul from uol finally responded to my emails.
