snippets of taipei :)

i've finally visited taipei :) love almost everything there - the people , the street food , bubble tea but not the weather or fashion oops. there are so many bubble tea stores down the street . singaporeans have to queue for koi/gong cha here unlike in taipei. we ordered a large cup and small cup for only 80twn ( approx 3.40 sgd ) . i'm awaiting pictures from kun's momma to blog about it . meanwhile, something funny ( to me ) to share with all !

in taiwan they allocate two priority seats on the side for the needy.

the locals call it 'bo ai wei'

kun was arguing how he's actually entitled to this seat.

1) on the top left : he's holding onto a 'walking stick ' . it's pouring that day and he has to carry the unfoldable umbrella from the hotel .

2) on the top right : he's so fat that his tummy sticks out like a pregnant lady. there were so many samples and street food that we over indulge all the time.

3) on the bottom left : his feet is very big. so big that he couldn't get his shoes at wufenpu a few times because he couldn't fit into the largest size there. LOL.

4) on the bottom right : he's with his baby ( that's me <3<3 )

my outfit for the first day . absolutely loving my pleated skirt but it's way too hot man. glad it protected my legs against the heavy sun though :)

been seeing gra almost every other day. it's insane

though i'm certainly not complaining.

loving this summer . taking quirky pictures and HTHT anytime .

no reason to be angry with God.

i think i'm enlightened. i've been high and happy these days. i think i haven't been this happy and contented for a long long while. although random flashbacks of the horrible papers still haunt me , they dont bother me as much now. i'm so happy working , earning money and living life to the fullest. i wish i wasn't so busy though , so i could have more time to meet my dearest pals. anyway, i took up this telemarketing job in order to see gra and chloe. when i'm already so damn busy. it's insane but meeting them really makes me happy. it's like we have endless stuffs to share about. i could actually look at gracia straight in the eyes, when she's doing her freaking gross dance. when i think of her ithinkof her CB dance . ( you girls will know why :p ) & lyla's gonna be sharing jobs with me! i'm so happy that i've finally managed to get her working for her own money.

i love my job at insing because it's so slack and it's all about shopping? i love how i could plan my timetable and work for 2 hours and get paid for 8 hours exclusive of transport fee :) what could have been a better job ? though it's lonely and i could have gotten 2 bucks/hour more if they didn't have to go through recruit express. WHY. SO STUBBORN SINGTEL?! i was doing my rounds at plaza singapura when i saw the body shop atrium sale ! been waiting for it for the longest time. they used to have it every now and then but not sofrequent this year. i love their tea tree products and my skin is so much clearer now . i've also been looking high and low for seamless undergarments now. the ones i got from pierre cardin suck because it's seamed on the waistband and that would mean visible waistband which is so not cool ? thank god there are more and more seamless undergarments now and more new styles on the market ~

impromptu night

on saturday , we headed down to National Library for yann's studio wu dance concert . needless to say , she was damn awesome that night ? the past few times she would attempt to dance in front of me but end up bursting into fits of laughter for i-dont-know-what reason. i really enjoyed the entire production. the tickets were pretty pricey but definitely worth every penny. we bought the 38 bucks ticket which is the cheaper ticket but were entitled to second row of seats which were allowed clear view . when yann performed her second item , we cheered and shouted her name and i saw her secretly beaming to herself on stage. too cute yann! by the way, she had the honour of receiving the biggest bouquet of flower that night woo :)

bet you didnt' know that yann's a damn good kisser :P

after the event, jun and tracy drove us to CHIJMES for good food. love the roast duck pizza though i have to say that timbre's roast duck pizza beats hand down. i love the potato wedges so much. why do all these carbo stuffs taste so good :/ after which we were supposed to head home when i muttered ' rocher beancurd ' out of the blue. i honestly dont know what came to me but i just thought of it all of a sudden. i've been wanting to try it but i have never been on a supper date for a few years? & there you go , jun swerved his car and before you know it, we were having round II.

part II

we were at the official opening of f21 at orchard exchange .

to be honest, we were a little disappointed because it wasn't as big as we have expected

single level , spacious but not as big as 313 branch in my opinion.

the queue was insane on that day and the music was bombastic .

not to forget pretty hot angmoh models who grace the event. too pretty !

it's such a pity that wing has to leave for dinner before lyla and silvia actually arrived. the last time we met up as a full clique was probably last year when we met for silvia's surprise birthday party. good thing that chloe's back for three months and there's much more chances to meet up with her as compared to the previous years. it's so much fun that day and seeing these pics makes me happy.. the only thing is that i spent quite a bit that day - spent a bomb on the body shop tea tree range. i'm really in love with this product . stock up quite a bit on neutrogena hydrating mask as well. this wise lady whom i've contacted advised me on the various skincare regime that i should follow and it seemed to be working well on me . hopefullymy facial therapist wont complain that much about my complexion anymore.

on a random note, finally went for an eye check and my degree has increased to 400 -.- i'm pretty sure it's the aftermath of my data entry job . i'm definitely gonna save up for lasik ; i dont even wanna reach half a thousand :( the thought of it makes me cringe. & boo, it's sunday night which means work tomorrow. turning to my taiwan trip as a source of motivation for work and tuitions. i.can.do.this.
